Yea so i finally figured out how to get into this blog site and get everything sorted, welcome to my blog….
As u can see my title is kinda weird no?
I am a solo mother with one son, 7 1/2 yrs of age, His name is Kiritoa meaning Christopher in my language of Maori!
I also live in New Zealand and am currently residing in the first city to see the sun!
GISBORNE!
O yea and its Monday because its late, after being offline for a long time nearly a yr, i signed back on due to some programmes that could help me with my choosen career.
And it was within my budget also, just within….but this will be ten bucks a week on broad band so their goes my entertainment money!
I wish to become a chef, and i have a form of Autism called Aspergers Syndrome, i’ll be nearing 30 soon on April the 19th, and im studying at the moment…. Hospitality and catering for the yr.
And to support me and back me up i have just under 400 cooking books!
I tell ya the more interesting i find some the more i have to have it, most of my books are second hand except for four of them i brought outta my own pocket…
Its too much time to type the titles and some are rare so i wont name any!
Their have been some minor hiccups like i’ve been unwell typical (Flu viral) i got fourth week in a row, and its now heading into Asthma….not a happy chappy!
Also my son needs dental surgery, and on Tuesday i need more time off!
At the moment its a mission to get into class because of the cost of transport, im just hopping dissability services get the sunshine bus service eligible to pick me up…
I pay currently just over ten bucks a pop catching a taxi to class, in fact im the only one who lives further from class!
Tommorow we are going to be in the kitchen 8.30 learning some knife skills, which is what i’ve been waiting for, only because even though i have experience, i don’t have it within a team enviroment.
And learning to use diffrent knife cuts is new to me also, thats gonna be a goal i want to acheive…
Somewhat through the yr we are going to check out a 4 and a half star restaurant in Napier thanks to our tutor…
And it will be due to learning about the experience of it and hopefully one student will get the chance to work down their as well!
My class is a barn yard full of tricks, interested in Music, Alcohol, Women, sex, o boy the list goes on not to mention being class clowns, one tutor mentioned on their attituides no sympathy….
O well between me and them fair enough, even though i got the experience well somewhat, im prepared to go the distance and get somewhere….
The class were thinking of where a grants available for a apprenticeship…and it could be used to cover towards stage 2 in hospitality….im hoping if i try really well i may apply for one
We got fitted for our uniforms, last week, and i happily put them on in the morning i cant wait!
Well i best get going their will be more tommorow on how the class day went but i need to make scchool lunches and mine before tommrow so their is only the chance for a shower and breakfast before brushing my teeth! And then its tally ho to class via taxi…
